Women’s Fellowship Christmas Outing

Successful shopping
On Thursday 26th November over twenty members of the Women’s Fellowship met outside Holy Trinity. We all boarded the coach, and, after what seemed only a few minutes chatting, arrived for our shopping outing to Dobbies of Edinburgh.
The first port of call was an essential stop for coffee. It was vital that we were well refreshed before the ladies separated to be tempted by the great variety of goods on sale.
Armed with numerous purchases, we paused for a light lunch, then searched for more bargains, prior to re-joining the coach for the journey home.
Judging by the number of ‘poly bags’ carried on to the bus, Dobbies had succeeded in providing something for everyone.
Everyone agreed that Hedydd’s excellent organisation ensured that it had been a very successful day.
There are still two Women’s Fellowship meetings left before the end of the year. On the 10th December at 10.30 am, Gill MacIntosh is hosting coffee at her home in Bowden, and the following Thursday 17th December, the Christmas Party will be held in the Trinity Centre at 2.30pm.
