Teenage Pentecost Service

Spirits always leave me deflated the morning after
the church gets back to normal and the balloons come down from the rafters
The teenagers organised and conducted the Pentecost service. They played the music, lead us in worship and celebrated the Eucharist. The church was decorated with candles, balloons and red cloth draped on the chancel. Their enthusiasm and talent inspired and challenged us. Red was very much in evidence in the clothes of the congregation and the flowers and balloons. Kate preached about the voices of others and encouraged all of us to listen to the way younger people express themselves in worship.
Yay! we felt God was there!
