Robert Murray finishing the Eildon Hill Race
Congratulations to Robert Murray on completing the Eildon Hill Race on Saturday 20th June.
This race is run annually during Melrose Festival Week. Runners leave from the Gibson Park, and run up two of the Eildon Hills, before returning for a circuit of the Greenyards rugby ground. The race is 4.5 miles long and involves a climb of some 1500 feet.
Robert completed this, his first Eildon Hill Race, in the very respectable time of 58 minutes 19 seconds.
