Kate Reynolds - accepted for ministry in the SEC
The latest good news for Holy Trinity is that Kate Reynolds has been accepted by a selection panel (after a three day conference in Ely) for training in ministry. Well done Kate!
This means that Kate will spend the next three years training with the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church [TISEC] to be a priest. Kate is already studying at Edinburgh for a Bachelor of Divinity degree and has just this month begun training with TISEC.
It also means that we will be seeing a bit less of her as she spends time with her studies, has weekends away with other ordinands and will be on placement to other churches for about 3 months at a time each year. At the end of that time the bishop will ordain her and she will begin a curacy – for 3 years or so – again in another church.
All our good wishes and blessings go with Kate and her husband Justin as she begins this latest stage of discernment and training
