Informal discussion on serious topics over a drink
There are plans for three meetings of the ‘Ethics Through the Drinking Glass’ for this autumn. Held in the George and Abbotsford on Tuesday evenings at 7:30. Watch the Events section for details. Already booked are Nancy Adams to give a talk and lead discussion on Peace between Palestine and Israel; then Justin Reynolds will question how effective we are in thinking about electronic communications in ‘The internet: good news or bad news?‘
These are informal discussions and debate round a drink in a friendly atmosphere. The topics aim at being issues that are currently in the news or might be provocative.
All are welcome.
