Prayer Circle

rainbow over church

As a church we are aware of the need for prayer to support and sustain our members and to help them find a deeper and closer relationship with God.

Inside the church, on the wall directly to the left as you enter the main door, are prayer pockets, where the names of people you wish to be prayed for, can be left. These names are added to the list of persons to be prayed for daily, at morning and evening prayers in the church.

On the first Sunday of every month, prayers for healing are held in the Kelsey Chapel, directly after the 11 o’clock service. All those wishing for prayers for themselves, family members, or friends, are invited to join Denis Wood, Annette Watson, Joan Graham and John Stewart for a short time of private prayer. To facilitate this it may be necessary to leave the church by the main door as normal, then re-enter by the side door so as not to be going against the flow of people!

Special Sunday evening services are held throughout the year. In November there is a service for All Souls and those attending are invited to bring flowers and light candles in remembrance of their loved ones. In May and October(17th of May and 18th of October this year) there are services of healing and anointing, when those attending are invited to write down the names of people who they wish to be brought privately before God.

There is an active Prayer Circle and those wishing for prayer should contact Maurice or Marion or a member of the Circle. The prayers are private and confidential amongst the group.
