Monday Club
The Monday Club was started in 2001 for retired people in Melrose both male and female. It is well supported by enthusiasts from Millar House, Priorwood Court and the surounding area.
The club is run on a rota system every Monday from 2-4pm. by a group of helpers, mostly from Holy Trinity Church. Scrabble, whist and dominoes are played, and tea and biscuits are served.
In September we have an outing for lunch and a visit to a local place of interest, or a drive around our beautiful countryside. This is funded by members’ weekly donations.
At Christmas we have a party tea and carols, before a short break for the festive season.
We are on holiday for June, July and August.
