Action By Christians Against Torture
Local group of the national organisation Action by Christians Against Torture
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is responsible for the preparation and cleaning of the linen and vessels used at communion.
Bible Study
An ecumenical bible study group meeting every second Tuesday at 10am upstairs in the Trinity Centre.
Book Group
The Book Group meets every six to eight weeks, discussing books that generally have a theological theme.
Choir
The Choir leads the singing for the Sunday Eucharist and the monthly Evensong.
Church Cleaning
Teams of volunteers working on a rota carry out cleaning to make the church as welcoming as possible.
Churchyard and Grounds Maintenance
The churchyard and grounds are privately owned and maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Communications Group
The Group produces Holy Trinity publications and leads development of the church website.
Craft Class
A craft class is held in the Trinity Centre on Wednesday afternoons from 2 to 4pm.
Ethics through the drinking glass
Every so often we meet down the pub and talk about the values we hold in relation to current affairs.
Flower Guild
The Guild's members take turns to arrange flowers on Sundays and church festivals.
Intercessors
Intercessory prayer is led by members of congregation at the 11am Sung Eucharist on Sunday mornings.
Lectionary Discussion Group
This group meets monthly to discuss lectionary readings and sermons in Holy Trinity.
Lent Book Group
Group meeting weekly on Tuesday nights during Lent.
Monday Club
This informal club of retired people meets every Monday afternoon for games such as scrabble and dominos.
Prayer Circle
The Prayer Circle consists of a group of volunteers who wish to pray daily for people requesting prayer.
Readers
Members of the congregation read the lessons and epistles at Holy Trinity services.
Servers Guild
Holy Trinity's Altar Servers belong to the Fraternity of St Boisil section of the Scottish Guild of Servers.
Sidespeople
The sidesmen and women are the first point of contact for visitors and congregation on a Sunday morning.
Social Committee
The group coordinates the social life of the church, organising catering and other social events.
Sunday School
Sunday School meets upstairs in the Trinity Centre during the main Sunday morning service.
Tea and Songs
The group meets to sing, share poems and stories and have afternoon tea together.
Women’s Fellowship
The Women’s Fellowship is an informal ladies meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month.
Youth Groups
Holy Trinity has an active number of young people and two Youth groups meet on Friday evenings in the Trinity Centre
